Let’s gather in Amsterdam to make flash fiction inspired by the city. You’ll leave having authored at least three very short stories to share or keep for yourself. You’ll also gain new creative perspectives on the murky canals, gabled facades, Red Light delights, and literary history of the Dutch capital. I’ll provide all you’ll need - a journal and pen, fancy stationery, still and sparkling beverages, plus ample writing prompts to nudge your muse.
Meet Your Host
Each workshop is facilitated by Story Rebels founder, Malika Ali Harding, an American writer and photographer. She travels widely and wildy in search of stories big and small. Malika earned her MFA in Screenwriting from the AFI Conservatory in Los Angeles and has spent the greater part of her adult life crafting indie films, organizing art exhibitions, and raising babies. Currently, she lives in Holland with her husband, youngest daughter, and two California rescue pups.

The beta experience is all booked! However, you can still sign on to the waiting list. In the event of a cancellation, I’ll send you an invite. The beta workshop doesn’t cost anything other than your feedback. I’ll keep your cup brimming with bubbly and your heart overflowing with urbane merriment. There are only six spots available on Monday, April 22nd from 3-5pm. We’ll meet inside my city center studio near Waterlooplein. Location details provided after registration.
